We believe that people learn by doing. Research shows that we retain as much as 90% of what we do as opposed to what we hear, read, or observe. Challenge programs such as ours present problem-solving situations whereby groups use their collective knowledge, experience and ideas to arrive at creative solutions. This synergistic approach is directly transferable to the everyday work environment.
 

Personalized Service

Our training programs are designed to meet the needs of each group. A team effectiveness questionnaire is used to design an appropriate program for a group. A personal styles inventory is used to affirm personal strengths and discover areas for growth which are referenced throughout the training.
 

Process Improvement

Your training is facilitated by experienced professionals at the Team Leadership Challenge Course with emphasis on the philosophy of "Challenge by Choice". In an atmosphere of camaraderie and adventure, your teams will encounter a variety of physical and mental obstacles which give them the opportunity to improve their communication, problem solving and leadership skills. Debriefing sessions offer the team time to reflect on what they have learned. Sharing feedback, strategizing for the future, and developing action plans helps the team transfer the adventure to the workplace.
 

Achievement Metaphors

Climbing the "high-course" provides powerful metaphors for facing and moving beyond the fears that keep individuals from meeting their potential. Participants need not be athletic to meet the challenges of the heights, they need only a willingness to stretch beyond their own pre-conceived limitations while getting support from their team.
 

Follow Through

Six to eight weeks after the training program, our consultants meet with your team for a follow-up session to see how they are applying their enhanced skills in the workplace and to strategize for the future. Team Graphics can be used to effectively anchor the commitments and extend the communication from the group's work to others who were not present.
