TLR Program:
Executive Leadership Teams

  • Building a learning organization
  • Communication that facilitates learning
  • Partnering as a core-competence
  • Leveraging knowledge via "care" to deliver value
  • Aligning personal and business objectives

Purpose:

Building a learning organization is perhaps the highest priority facing business management in today's dynamic world. Boundaries commonly found between departments in organizations are giving way to partnering relationships. The same can be said for large corporations, where lines differentiating cultures are difficult to identify. The purpose of TLR's EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAMS program is to create a context in which executive groups may come together to develop communication skills essential to build a learning organization across real or perceived boundaries.

Program Specifics:

Participants may apply the Carlson DiSC profile system to identify their personal social style as well as those of other members of their team. They apply their styles on TLR's adventure based challenge course to come together as a team.

Each program is custom designed and will last from 1 to 5 days. Unique features may include:

  • Problem-solving seminar to establish the parameters and complexity of the team's dynamics
  • Sufficient time on the challenge-course to open communications
  • Evening "café" sessions to support the learning process
  • A wrap-up provides perspective to the program

Outcomes:

Participants will be able to:

  • Apply strategies to building a learning organization.
  • Utilize communication that facilitates learning.
  • See partnering as a core-competence.
  • Leverage knowledge via "care" to deliver value.
  • Align the enterprise strategies of the business and individuals who make up the company.
