Off Site

Wild Nature has always been a place where titles, offices, and degrees carry less significance. When the group is in surroundings where there is little trace of anything that suggests the formal structures of human organizations, what remains are the individuals, the personalities, communication and learning styles, leadership attributes, and relationship patterns. It is among these that we find the focal points for training in team leadership.
 

Natural Settings

The fresh air and natural light of an outdoor surrounding is an atmosphere which has (often simultaneously) both a soothing and stimulating effect on most people. Nature is our primary wellspring of metaphors about systems. It is a complex but harmonious environment that instructs us in matters of wholeness, integrity, and sustainability.
 

For Reflection

It is also a place which requires that one maintain one's bearings, or become lost. Given this, no better environment can be found for pursuit of what is possibly the most important leadership question - "Where are we, and where do we want to go from here?"
 

Two Great Courses

Team Leadership Results operates two outdoor challenge sites. The Cielo Vista Canyon course is situated in the hills of the Balcones fault line that lies along the northern boundary of San Antonio. This site offers a better choice for groups who want to stay in town. The Quail Canyon course is located on the Guadalupe River Ranch, a Hill Country guest resort just thirty minutes farther out from the city. This is a better choice for a group that wants to site its program in a retreat setting with excellent overnight accommodations, meeting rooms and gourmet dining.
