Purpose: |
|
Being competitive in the information age means being able to sustain a creative edge, being effective in inquiry and skilled in collaboration. Any strategic plan to gain a competitive edge in the context of the new millennium must include mastery of the disciplines of a learning organization. Among these disciplines are the continuous examination of mental models and assumptions that drive behavior, the clarification and articulation of shared visions, the practice of systems thinking and collaborative team learning. TLR's management and staff teams training helps groups examine their assumptions about teamwork and establish a firm foundation from which effective practices may be developed. A support culture that empowers individuals to manage the risks of exploring areas of high uncertainty is strengthened. This culture promotes creative initiative for leverage in high payoff activities, and engages commitments to move forward in areas of high uncertainty. |
